On The Subject of Legends

There are only 3 good music: Darkxic, Nirvana, and Sex Bob Omb.

Darkxic: You see darkxic is a musical genius who is responsible for hit bangers such as whinythe feeling, and of course archaic wizardry.  He has other bangers that he doesn't release on his soundcloud but if I illegally leak more darkxic songs he will hang me. A jack of all trades, darkxic can create anything from trap bangers to drum and bass to smooth jazz. This man can hit you with production quality so high, it makes pierre bourne look like dj khaled. He really does know everything there is to know about music and has practically devoted himself to experiencing every genre that there is. I see him as my personal music mentor and I feel that the best opinion on any music at all that I can get is from him. But one side of Darkxic that not many people see is the poetic side. His amazing lyricism is largely masked due to the fact that he doensn't release any of his songs that actually have lyrics. His vocal melodies are nothing short of genius and his lyrics are held together by very simple stanzas stringed together to create complex feelings and emotions. His lyrics are there to tell you something plain and simple but it's this very fact that creates an infinite world of complexities behind it all. The imagery and almost foreboding underlying themes of his songs leave you wondering what Darkxic himself even is. Darkxic as a person is covered in a dark and mysterious fog that leaves even his closest friends wondering what goes on his mind and his lyrics serve to blatantly tell you but by doing that it leaves you even more lost. I could think of no one else who would better represent the name Darkxic and if he was in it for the money and the fame, he'd be a billionaire rock star by now.

Nirvana: Nirvana kicks you off with it's debut album: Bleach, a super intense and heavy underground rock album that screams out against rape and sexism with loud vocals, rough distortion guitar, and heavy metallic drums. From this successful indie album comes the resources and money necessary to produce their next album: Nevermind, a loud and poppy grunge album that starts off with songs that have quiet, calm verses, and explosive choruses that are made to appease the average listener and draw in people who aren't to used to rock music. The second half is filled with more fast and loud grunge and punk but still uses simple riffs and catchy vocal melodies until the very end where they hit you with Something In The Way, a quiet and mellow song about homelessness where Kurt Cobain draws from his own experience of living under a bridge to create amazingly soft and somber lyrics. Except UH OH BONUS SONG ALERT!!! Endless, Nameless comes in grumbling with a muddy distorted bass followed by distortion guitar and drums that explode in a completely anti-pop finale with ruff scratchy scream vocals and loud banging drums. And then, after 2 years comes Nirvana's final album: In Utero. They brought back the more raw sound from bleach but with the simplistic riffs and poppy vocals from Nevermind to create the ultimate final grunge rock album. The album is very evenly split between loud, calm, and absolutely crazy songs. It's steeped in baby imagery and fetuses and speaks out against rape and sexism in the way Nirvana always does but there is so much more hidden in the lyrics that the album can be interpreted in a billion different ways. The album ends with All Apologies, a soft yet grungy song with a certain ambience to it that only Nirvana can give you.

Sex Bob Omb: Hell yeah muddy garage punk rock with a distortion guitar so loud and crunchy, you'd think it was forged from dirt. Composer Beck Hansen captured the spirit of punk rock so well and he is one of the many reasons that Scott Pilgrim is hollywood's best representation of rock since the School of Rock.
